Four hundred years of time marked
the memories of sake brewing
The old Kimura Sake Brewery began brewing sake around the second year of the Kan'ei era (1625) in Takeda and has undergone recovery from repeated fires. Its exterior remains unchanged, preserving the designs, styles, and structures that characterize the landscape of the area, and it continues to contribute as a model for the formation of the local scenery. Inside, the brewery is equipped with sake-making facilities, arrangements for festivals and annual events, and innovations for disaster prevention to protect the family and property mentioned earlier, making it a valuable group of buildings that conveys the region's historical climate and culture.
