The Takeda Castle ruins in Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture, are known as the 'Castle in the Sky' due to their appearance floating in a sea of clouds.
Starting from June 1, 2025, it will be possible to climb from 5 AM as part of the summer season.
The time spent climbing while gazing at the gently rising sun over the Takeda mountain range in the clear morning air is truly a "moment that relaxes the heart."
During the summer days, temperatures tend to rise, so this period, when you can climb in the cool morning hours, is especially recommended.
Please enjoy the scenery of the stone walls and mountain castles wrapped in the soft light unique to the clear early morning.
Additionally, from June 1 (Sunday) to August 31 (Sunday) for a period of three months, those who enter the castle between 5 AM and 7 AM will receive a
special limited edition castle stamp postcard for summer 2025.
The postcard features a design by Toyotomi Hide-naga, who served as the castle lord at Takeda Castle.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi was a military commander from the Sengoku period to the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and he was the younger brother of Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
He was active in both domestic and foreign affairs and military matters under the Toyotomi regime, and he took command during Hideyoshi's invasion of Tajima.
According to the "Chronicles of Nobunaga," he is said to have become the castle governor of Takeda Castle in the 6th year of Tenmei (1578).
In next year's NHK historical drama 'Toyotomi Brothers!', Hideyoshi will be the main character.

Stunning scenery created by nature that can be enjoyed even on rainy days

The impressive basalt stone columns of "Genbudo Park" are a Natural Monument representing the Tajima area.
They were formed approximately 1.6 million years ago due to volcanic activity.
The magma that flowed from the summit cooled and solidified, creating regular hexagonal cracks, which shaped a unique and beautiful terrain.
It is said that about 6000 years ago, they were washed by waves and appeared on the surface, eventually taking on a shape resembling a "cave" through human intervention.
The mysterious and beautiful scenery continues to captivate those who visit.

500,000 sunflowers in full bloom

A seasonal event in Tando that announces the beginning of summer.
The "Tando Sunflower Festival" will be held, where approximately 500,000 sunflowers bloom like a yellow carpet.
The sunflower fields as far as the eye can see are simply breathtaking.
During the event, you can freely pick sunflowers, allowing you to take your favorite flowers home and enjoy summer memories at your own place.
At the adjacent cornfield, a picking garden is also being held simultaneously.
One of the attractions is the experience of harvesting three types of corn, including the white corn "Silk Corn" with a sugar content exceeding 18 degrees.
