The groom and bride, who perfectly understand and respect each other's feelings, expressed their desire for a fun wedding that shines a spotlight not only on themselves but also on their guests, rather than a ceremony where they are the only stars. They shared their warm thoughts and many dreams and hopes. To help them better visualize their ideal wedding, the planner also made heartfelt suggestions.
A space that matches your ideals.
The couple, originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, was considering a Shinto ceremony. They chose Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine as the venue for their wedding. For the reception, they selected Hotel CULTIA Dazaifu, which is located very close to the shrine. One of the deciding factors was the authentic cuisine that makes abundant use of local Fukuoka ingredients, allowing them to treat their guests well. Furthermore, the hotel offers exclusive use for one group per day, enabling a cozy and homely atmosphere for their special day. For the couple, who envisioned a warm wedding with their important guests, this was the perfect place.
A meeting filled with love for the guests.
The groom and bride had dreams and ideals that they envisioned in their hearts. We listened to each of these and, while also making suggestions as planners, we created the wedding together. There were many moments of contemplation as they wished for their important guests to be truly happy. It became a harmonious preparation period filled with the couple's love for their guests.
"A precious wedding ceremony that can be realized in a special space, precisely because it is 'now.'"
At Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, which the couple chose as the venue for their wedding ceremony, they exchanged their vows in front of the deity in a solemn and sacred atmosphere unique to Shinto ceremonies. It was a precious moment not only for the bride and groom but also for their guests. Additionally, they had the opportunity to visit a special temporary shrine, which is available for a limited time of three years. The design and architecture of the temporary shrine were created by the renowned architect Sou Fujimoto, who is active both domestically and internationally. The roof of the shrine is adorned with a forest, harmonizing modern design with tradition and nature, captivating the hearts of those who visit. In this special space that can only be visited now, the couple's and their guests' extraordinary day began.
The only marriage certificate in the world.
In the welcome space, we prepared a marriage certificate created together with the guests. The theme was 'important things in married life,' and guests selected one of four colored stickers to attach to their own caricature, expressing their blessings. The marriage certificate, filled with the heartfelt wishes of everyone, was completed. The celebration began with the appearance of the bride and groom, who had changed outfits. The bride, dressed in a bright red color-uchikake, added a vibrant touch to the venue and captivated the guests. Everyone enjoyed conversing while leaning in and toasting, creating a naturally warm and homely atmosphere.
A variety of dishes vividly decorating the table.
For the dishes that welcome our guests, we offer the popular specialty "Seafood Jelly - Sunflower." We prepared flower petals in three colors and served them randomly to guests, creating a vibrant flower garden on the table. Additionally, there are other elements of hospitality that adorn the table. In one corner of the reception venue, we set up a visually stunning dessert buffet. Featuring a rich variety of Japanese sweets, including hojicha crème brûlée and parfaits made with gyuhi, we satisfied both the hearts and stomachs of our guests.
A gentle performance that highlights the children.
The couple, wishing to bring joy to their little guests, prepared a special performance that put the spotlight on the children. Dressed in adorable costumes, the child guests made their appearance before everyone. They delivered flowers to the bride and groom, who also presented gifts to the children. The children's performance, which brought not only flowers but also happiness, enveloped the venue in an even more cheerful mood. At the conclusion of the reception, the bride read a letter to her beloved parents. Receiving the couple's heartfelt gratitude, the parents appeared to be deeply moved. Until the day of the wedding, the bride and groom had thought of each and every guest, making it a heartwarming day that united their feelings.
