The bride and groom exuded a calm atmosphere. Their gentle smiles, which seemed to soothe those around them, left a lasting impression. The couple decided to hold their wedding as a way to mark their commitment to each other and to express gratitude to their important guests. The staff dedicated themselves to ensuring that the day would be filled with the couple's overflowing love for their guests.
Seeking a place where we can offer hospitality in our own way.
The couple, who are considering a Shinto ceremony in Fukuoka, the groom's hometown, chose Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, famous for enshrining the "God of Learning" Michizane Sugawara, as their wedding venue. They selected Hotel CULTIA Dazaifu, located near the shrine, for their reception. One of the deciding factors for choosing Hotel CULTIA Dazaifu was the ability to express their individuality through the dishes served to their guests.
A meeting held with consideration for the guests and their families.
During the meeting, the groom and bride made selections with the guests' perspective in mind. They prepared everything carefully, imagining the joyful faces of everyone. They reflected their family's memories and preferences in the venue coordination and each dish, showing their deep consideration for their family. The gentle demeanor of the couple made for a calm and memorable meeting.
The buds of the sacred tree 'Tobiume' have begun to bloom at Dazaifu Tenmangu.
The clear winter air radiates an even more mysterious charm at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Surrounded by refreshing air and rich greenery, the couple's important day has begun. The groom and bride slowly advance towards the shrine, united with their guests in spirit. Their graceful movements, with attention to detail, captivated the guests. While revered as the 'God of Learning,' Michizane Sugawara was also known for his deep family love and the importance he placed on human connections. In the presence of this deity, a solemn ceremony took place, strengthening the bonds between the two families.
Hospitality that reflects local love and family love.
The venue coordination incorporated a variety of colorful "sweet peas," creating a cute and warm atmosphere. Sweet peas are the favorite flower of the bride's mother, and their flower language is 'new beginnings.' They chose this delicate flower, which is fitting to celebrate the couple's new journey together. For the dishes to welcome the guests, they prepared meals using ingredients from their respective hometowns, Fukuoka and Nagano. The main meat dish featured Fukuoka's Hakata wagyu, while the fish dish was served with a sauce made from Nagano's Shinshu miso, expressing the couple's uniqueness. Additionally, they offered a chestnut potage favored by both sets of parents and an appetizer inspired by the bridegroom's mother's favorite flower, "sunflower." Each dish, infused with the couple's hospitality, was enjoyed by all the guests.
A warm ceremony that involved the cooperation of child guests.
The groom and bride stood close together as they cut the wedding cake topped with plenty of seasonal strawberries. Before the couple's first bite, the parents from both families demonstrated the tradition of the first bite. This moment, filled with the parents' affectionate demeanor, brought forth many smiles. During the entrance for the outfit change, the couple's nephew and niece made their appearance. Each of the three children held a small bouquet of 'sweet peas,' matching the flowers that adorned the venue. The three bouquets, held by the children, were combined into one in front of the guests and presented from the groom to the bride. The bride took one flower from the bouquet and placed it in the groom's chest pocket. This bouquet and boutonniere ceremony, which also highlighted the children, added an even warmer atmosphere to the venue.
A day bound by deep love with the guests.
The couple enjoyed lively conversations with their guests and took photos with beaming smiles. The venue was filled with a homely atmosphere and a gentle ambiance. At the conclusion of the reception, the bride prepared a letter of gratitude for her parents. This heartfelt letter moved not only her parents but also the guests, creating a touching scene. The groom and bride put their hearts into preparing for each guest, making it a day filled with love as their feelings came together.
