The guest room building, renovated from a former residence located in Kawaramachi, which is home to the merchant houses of Kawaramachi. The long corridor leading to the guest rooms features an architectural style unique to townhouses, providing an experience not found in modern times. It has good access to cafes and souvenir shops, making it a perfect accommodation for exploring the town. The names of each building in our facility are derived from types of chrysanthemums that were offered to the Tokugawa family, who constructed the castle in Sasayama. The KAWARANO building is named after the "Kawara no Kiku" (Kawara Chrysanthemum).

Tamba Sasayama, which developed around Sasayama Castle built in the center of a nature-rich basin surrounded by mountains, has nurtured a unique culture by its predecessors, which has been passed down to the present day along with the town's landscape.
The KAWARANO building is a former residence located in the merchant town area of "Kawaramachi," which supported the development of the castle town of Sasayama. The traditional row house architecture that exists in Kawaramachi plays an important role in "Promoting and Sustaining Culture" of the town.
