A treasure trove of autumn's finest flavors.
Starting with the elusive 'black edamame' that is only sold for one month each year, autumn in Tamba Sasayama is the season when food connoisseurs gather the most, featuring Tamba black soybeans, Tamba chestnuts, and matsutake mushrooms.

The birthplace of botan-nabe.
Botan nabe, a winter delicacy beloved in Tanba-Sasayama, is a local feast that features wild boar meat simmered in a miso broth, enjoyed with local vegetables. It is considered to have originated in Tanba-Sasayama.

Original cattle of branded beef: Tajima beef.
Tajima beef, which is the source of brands like Kobe beef and Matsusaka beef, is a brand of cattle raised in the Tajima area, including Tamba Sasayama. It is characterized by an exquisite balance of lean meat and fat, with fine marbling known as "sashi."

Tanba ware is one of the six ancient kilns of Japan, with a history of about 800 years centered in Tanba Sasayama City. It is characterized by the use of natural ash as glaze, known as 'natural glaze', and the rustic, strong texture produced by climbing kilns. Continuing to evolve while preserving tradition, Tanba ware symbolizes a warm pottery culture nurtured by the local environment and the hands of its people.

We have renovated the former residence of a bank president into a dining space. The windows overlooking the garden are made of Taisho glass, and the shelves used at that time have been preserved, creating a refined atmosphere where you can enjoy a culinary experience that can only be found here.
