An invitation for a stay that deeply relaxes both mind and body. Information about our multiple night stay offer.
Kyoto, the city known for a thousand years, is a place whose history still breathes through its many shrines, temples, traditional crafts, and the charm of its geisha districts.
However, it is quite difficult to explore everything during a one-night stay, and we recommend staying for two nights or more.
Without being pressed for time,
experience the beautiful townscapes and nature, the inherited culture and craftsmanship.
Gradually, the five senses open up, and the mind and body are relaxed――

Zen Meditation at the Private Temple Gesshin-in

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Higashiyama in Kyoto, we head to the temple 'Gesshin-in,' which is usually not open to the public.
A completely private Zen experience where you learn the practices of zazen and breathing techniques under the guidance of a monk in a historical space that was a base for the warriors who left the Shinsengumi during the Bakumatsu period.
Authentic Kintsugi Experience with an Internationally Acclaimed Lacquer Artist

The traditional Japanese technique 'kintsugi' involves connecting broken vessels with lacquer and coloring the scars with metallic powder, thereby creating a new beauty.
In this experience, we welcome Miho Hioki, a lacquer artist from "Atelier hifumi" who works on the world stage, to teach us the technique of kintsugi using traditional urushi lacquer.
This is a completely private craft experience where you can touch the unique texture of genuine urushi and the craftsmanship of artisans, rather than using a simple adhesive.
