About your reservation

  • Both the restaurant and accommodation are available for your use.
    The types of credit cards accepted are VISA / MASTER / JCB / AMEX / DINERS / UnionPay,
    and payment is only accepted in a lump sum.

  • Please make a new reservation.

  • Children from 0 years old can stay.
    Please inform us of the child's age, number, and gender at the time of booking.

About the guest room

  • As the concept is to preserve the charm of historical architecture, it does not accommodate barrier-free access.
    There may be inconveniences such as stairs and steps. However, there are relatively flat rooms available, so please feel free to inquire.

  • The entire room is equipped with wireless LAN (WiFi). There are no free computers available.

  • I'm sorry.
    Our hotel does not have any rooms that allow pets.

About the co-located restaurant

  • Breakfast will be served at the separate building "Heian Jingu Event Hall" with a view of the Place of Scenic Beauty garden.
    The round-trip taxi transportation from your guest room will be arranged at our hotel's expense.

  • There is no room service for meals, but we have prepared alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar for you to enjoy freely. There is no additional charge, so please feel free to help yourself.
    If you need glasses, plates, knives, forks, spoons, etc., please let the front desk know.

  • If you let us know at least three days before the check-in date, we can arrange cakes and flower bouquets according to your budget.
    Cakes start from 1,980 yen (including tax and service charge) for 2-3 people. It is also possible to write a message on the plate, so please let us know the content if you wish.

  • We can provide information about three restaurants: "Kodaiji Kyoku", "Ruan AKAGANE RESORT KYOTO HIGASHIYAMA 1925", and "Ruan FUNATSURU KYOTO KAMOGAWA RESORT".
    Both lunch and dinner can be used without a reservation depending on availability, but we recommend making a reservation in advance for a smooth experience. *"Kodaiji Kyoku" only accepts reservations in advance.

    The operating hours for each restaurant are as follows:

    Dinner: Saturday, Sunday, and holidays 17:30–23:00 (L.O. 21:00)

    ・Ruan AKAGANE RESORT KYOTO HIGASHIYAMA 1925
    Lunch: 11:30–15:30 (L.O. 14:00)
    Dinner: 17:30–22:00 (L.O. 21:00)
    Closed: Tuesdays

    ・Ruan FUNATSURU KYOTO KAMOGAWA RESORT
    Lunch: 11:30–15:30 (L.O. 14:00)
    Dinner: 17:30–22:00 (L.O. 21:00)
    Closed: Tuesdays *During the riverbed period from May to September, we will operate without a break.

  • We ask for your time at check-in.
    If you inform us in advance, we will prepare to meet your request, but to ensure spacing between customers, we may ask you to adjust your time.

  • I will respond as much as possible. Please contact us in advance.

  • We have prepared meals according to your child's age.

    Meals for ages 3 to 6: 2,200 yen (including tax and service charge) ... One plate / Hamburger, etc.

About guest room amenities / supplies.

  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility, including guest rooms. Please refrain from smoking outside of designated areas.

  • In order to allow our guests to fully experience the charm of our historical architecture, there may be some unavoidable inconveniences. However, our staff will assist you as much as possible. Additionally, we have rooms with a relatively flat layout, so please feel free to inquire.

About Access, Check-in/Check-out

  • Check-in will be conducted at the building where you will be staying.

  • We do not have parking available, so we kindly ask you to use coin parking.
    If you are coming by car, we can provide information about nearby coin parking, etc.

  • Check-in is from 15:00 to 20:00, and check-out is until 11:00.
    If you will be arriving later than 20:00, please be sure to contact us.

  • It is possible. We will keep it at the front desk. If you wish to have it mailed, please contact us in advance.

  • "There will be no staff available. Please be aware that the front desk will be unmanned after 10 PM."

  • We will make suggestions based on your preferences, so please feel free to consult the concierge on the day.
