The beauty of Japanese houses

The MOSO building, originally built as the 'Old Geibi Bank' (now Hiroshima Bank) during the Meiji period, later operated as the 'Old Suigi Inn.' It is a unique structure that retains traces of both its banking and innkeeping history.

Traditional townhouses passed down through generations

The 'Old Mizude Residence' has supported the vibrancy of Takehara as a sake brewery during the Meiji period and as an entertainment facility such as a billiard hall from the Taisho to Showa periods. It is located in an area that retains its traditional streetscape, with the city's Important Cultural Property, the 'Old Matsusaka Residence,' situated across the street.

As a special place,
it has long been a symbol of the city

Originally founded during the Edo period, the "Old Suigi Main Store" operated as a ryotei until around the 1970s. The place, which hosted weddings and other special occasions, has been revived as a dining venue in a hotel.

Club Lounge

In the exclusive club lounge for guests, you can enjoy local sake from a long-established brewery with over 150 years of history, whiskey, and soft drinks made from local fruits, reflecting the sake culture of Takehara.
