Higashiyama is one of Kyoto's top tourist attractions, known for its traditional streets and was the first area in Japan to be registered as Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings. It is the land where Hideyoshi's legal wife, Nene, spent her later years, and it currently features beautiful cobblestone paths that showcase the changing expressions of the four seasons.

Located on Nene no Michi, where traditional houses remain, this building was originally a ryokan that has been restored. While the exterior retains an elegant traditional style, the interior reveals a luxurious space designed with modern aesthetics.

In April 2026, 'The Villa Nene-no-Michi Kazeno Heritage' changed its name from 'HOTEL VMG RESORT KYOTO Nene'.

江戸時代より約250年続く京都の老舗銅加工企業との縁が深く、開化堂の茶筒や棟内の壁面など銅を全体のテーマとして随所に使用。また清⽔焼の⻘と、銅の錆をイメージした孔雀（ ピーコックブルー） をアクセントカラーとして散りばめています。
