Chopsticks, which are essential for "meals" in travel and restaurants for Japanese people.
Since they are used every day and many times, there may be those who want to choose good ones.
This time, Hotel Cartia Dazaifu will offer you the opportunity to savor Kyushu's famous products and specialties.
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a "Chopstick Making Workshop" to help you enjoy your meals even more.
Under the support of professional craftsmen in chopstick making, you will color your own chopsticks that fit your hands, and the craftsmen will finish them.
During your next visit to this facility, you can enjoy French cuisine at Cartia Dazaifu with the handmade "My Chopsticks" created in this experience.
Dazaifu, which has woven a long history as the western gateway of Japan since ancient times, and the Japanese chopstick culture, which is said to have been first used in the imperial court by Prince Shotoku long ago, will be connected through this workshop, and we hope you can easily participate and enjoy it as a cultural experience.
Experience content
You can shape chopsticks from wood to fit the size of your hands.
You can freely paint and create your original "My Chopsticks".
The painted chopsticks will be finished by artisans and sent by mail approximately two months later.

The required time is approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

Capacity: From a minimum of 1 person to a maximum of 10 people.
Price: 18,600 yen per person (including tax and service charges)
Cancellation policy: Up to 3 days in advance: Free. After that: 100% charge.
Important Notes:
The painted chopsticks will be finished by artisans, and will be delivered by mail at a later date (approximately two months later).
If you use a restaurant or hotel within 2 to 6 months, it is also possible to enjoy your meal with the completed chopsticks.
