【2026/10/25(日)開催】上野天神祭（西町本祭）だんじり巡行体験

The "Ueno Tenjin Festival" is the largest autumn festival in Iga Ueno, boasting a history of over 400 years, and is recognized as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. The sight of the splendid and luxurious floats, along with the powerful procession of over a hundred demons, parading through the castle town is truly breathtaking.

In this activity, you will wear a happi (a traditional Japanese coat) and participate in the danjiri procession alongside local residents. You can enjoy a special time feeling like a member of the town while interacting with the community.

During the procession, you can closely experience the danjiri, and when it stops, you can also ride on the danjiri and take commemorative photos.

Would you like to experience a traditional festival that has been passed down in the region as a 'participant' rather than just an 'audience'?

Part of the revenue from this plan will be used for the preservation and continuation activities of the Ueno Tenjin Festival, as well as for the maintenance and development of local culture. Your participation will also contribute to supporting the festival for the future.
