The "Private Kura Sauna" has been revitalized from a quietly standing storehouse deep in the grounds.

In a space that takes advantage of the borrowed scenery of a pond-style garden, you can spend a relaxing time. The Tōdō clan, which made its name during the Warring States period, has seen the site of the former Nozaki family residence, which supported the clan, reborn as a sweet villa. The trajectory from the Warring States period to the Edo period and into the present has been woven together, and this site is the largest remaining residence in Iga Ueno. Despite its vast area of 5,100 square meters, the pond-style garden creates a private space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Throughout the building, art using the nationally designated traditional craft "Iga ware" and the vibrant "kumihimo" made with techniques passed down since ancient times and silk threads is installed, allowing you to enjoy the culture of Iga.
