Experience only: Clear your mind at the designated Place of Scenic Beauty 'Kansui-en' with a garden guide and tea presentation experience.
The Japanese garden 'Kansuiten' quietly thrives in the castle town of Kurayoshi. Although it is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, once you step inside, a tranquil time flows that is different from everyday life.
The Ogawa House, which is part of Kazeno Kurayoshi, features the Kansuien garden created by its sixth head, Mr. Ogawa Teiichi. This historical strolling garden is designated as a Registered Monument and a Place of Scenic Beauty in Tottori Prefecture.
Stroll through the garden while admiring the trees and moss of each season, and the reflections on the water's surface, then enjoy a cup of matcha tea in the historic building "Nanzanso." Take your time to unwind your five senses and spend a quiet moment facing yourself.

Garden Guide: Experience History and Nature
With the guidance of dedicated staff, we will take a stroll around Kansui-en for about 30 minutes.
We will guide you through the garden, highlighting its origins and points of interest, while allowing you to experience the unique aesthetic sensibility of Japanese gardens, including the arrangement of stepping stones, the landscape of the pond, and seasonal flowers.
As I slowly advance my steps, the changing scenery feels as if I am gazing at a picture scroll. If I listen closely, the sounds of the wind and water, along with the rustling of the leaves, resonate pleasantly, and my breathing naturally deepens.
"A moment of hospitality to savor at 'Nansansou'"
After strolling through the garden, visit the historic building 'Nanzansou' located within the grounds.
You will enjoy freshly prepared matcha and seasonal sweets while feeling the atmosphere of a tea room that is usually not easily accessible.
In a quiet space, enjoying the aroma of tea and cradling a bowl with both hands is a moment to distance oneself from the hectic daily life and to center the mind.
You can experience the spirit of 'quietness' and 'hospitality' that has been cherished in Japan's tea ceremony culture in a relaxed manner.
