The first facility embodying the concept of the brand category 'Kazeno' in the new hotel brand series 'Kazeno Heritage', Kazeno Kurayoshi, located in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture, is set to open on July 17, 2026 (Friday). In advance of the opening, reservations will be accepted on the official website starting March 19, 2026 (Thursday).

To commemorate the opening of our official Instagram account, we will invite 5 groups of 10 people to a free stay at Kazeno Kurayoshi for a Tottori Heritage Retreat, which includes a 2-day, 1-night stay with 2 meals, from among those who follow our account and like this campaign post. Kurayoshi City in Tottori Prefecture is located about two hours from Tokyo and is easily accessible from tourist destinations that evoke the traditions and myths of Japan, such as Kyoto and Izumo. The townscape, which has been passed down through the ages, has been designated as an Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings, preserving a beautiful landscape of old merchant houses and white-walled storehouses built from the Edo to Taisho periods, along with red-tiled roofs.

The "Ogawa family," which conveys a refined design as a designated protected cultural property of Tottori Prefecture, and the "Takata family," a Registered Tangible Cultural Property that vividly retains the essence of a former merchant's lifestyle. The two former residences, rich in the culture of Kurayoshi, are reborn into just 11 guest rooms.
In each uniquely styled guest room, fragrant rare woods fill the air, and one can relax in the tatami room while being enveloped by the breeze that flows through, admiring the designs that bear the marks of ancient craftsmen. The stay itself, connecting with the past lifestyle, its aesthetic sense, and the culture rooted in the land, opens the door to an extraordinary world.

A retreat journey that breezes through the five senses.

As a retreat program that encourages "dialogue with oneself" and "rejuvenation of the mind and body," we will incorporate elements that resonate pleasantly with the senses of sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste throughout the experience. The setup of the guest rooms, as well as the entire stay, will not only be in Kurayoshi but will also open the five senses gently across the entire central area of Tottori Prefecture, creating a stage for a retreat that "plays with the heart."
In the land of San'in, renowned as a land of myths, Kurayoshi is particularly embraced by two sacred mountains, Daisen and Mitokusan, where myths are closely intertwined. At "Kazeno Kurayoshi," we plan to offer four retreat stay programs designed to tune the mind and body over a 2-night, 3-day experience, blending the mystique and spirituality that thrive in this land with the blessings brought by nature (sales to begin soon).

1. Abandoned railway tunnel walking meditation
Ooyama Pond lakeside brunch

Walking through spaces where nature and culture have gradually merged, such as abandoned railway tracks swallowed by the forest and pitch-black tunnels, offers an extraordinary meditative experience that halts thought and deepens shallow breathing. Enjoying a brunch that blends with nature by the shores of Ooyama Pond lightens the body and mind. It is a three-day journey that guides you back to deep breathing and the five senses.

2. A moment to experience folk crafts and
to touch upon local traditions and stories.

The folk art and crafts rooted in Kurayoshi are condensed with the artisans' dedication and the aesthetics of their lives. By diving into this tradition and spending time mindfully engaging with the materials, one can detach from the daily multitasking and enter a 'flow state' where the soul is poured into a single act of craftsmanship. In the evening, stories that weave history are screened in a lounge adorned with a shrine, allowing one to quietly connect with the local context and oneself, spending time to harmonize the mind and body.

With the warmth of the hot springs and pleasant body care time, refresh both body and mind. We offer a blissful refreshment experience that clears you from the inside out.

【Prize Details】
We invite 10 people from 5 groups to a free stay at "Kazeno Kurayoshi" for 1 night and 2 meals.
In addition to the accommodation, we plan a retreat experience immersed in Tottori's folk arts and crafts. (Kurayoshi Kasuri weaving or pottery experience at a Tottori kiln)
※Transportation costs to the location will be borne by the customer.

【Eligibility Requirements】
1. Individuals aged 18 and over residing in Japan

※ Accounts that are private or have settings that do not allow receiving DMs may be excluded from eligibility.

【Terms of Use and Exclusion Dates】
1. Accommodation is by prior reservation only.
2. Room types will be assigned at the facility's discretion. We will prepare available rooms according to the vacancy status.
3. The following dates, or dates specified by the organizer, may not be available for use.
・Fully booked dates
・Facility designated dates
・Other dates that are difficult to accommodate operationally
4. Transportation costs to the site, food and beverage costs, additional experience fees, and personal expenses will be the responsibility of the winners.
5. Accommodation rights cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or resold.
6. The number of guests is limited to 2 per group as a general rule.

This campaign includes a "retreat experience immersed in Tottori's folk arts and crafts."
However, due to the circumstances of the operators, bad weather, disasters, or other safety and operational reasons, there may be changes to the content, cancellations, or changes to alternative plans.
