The MITAKE building, which was operated as a lumber store during the Meiji era.
The two-story wooden structure, characteristic of an old lumber store, retains traditional features from the exterior to the details of the rooms, such as the tsuba-shaped bug cage windows, parent-child lattice, and box stairs.
The separate warehouse can also be rented as a whole.

Surrounded by mountains, Iga-Ueno was isolated from the outside world, allowing its unique culture, including ninja traditions, haiku poetry, and Iga kumihimo (braided cord making), to flourish. Furthermore, having escaped major war damage, it retains historical buildings from the Edo, Meiji, and modern eras.

While adding modern comforts, we have preserved as much of the original space as possible. Therefore, although the insulation, airtightness, and soundproofing are not high, we offer a special space where you can enjoy the beautiful design that allows you to feel the breath of the time within the accumulated history.
