Facing the Yamato Highway, the "Tanaka Seika Wholesale Store," which has been engaged in banana ripening and processing since the early Meiji period, has been reborn as an inn with two guest rooms, preserving its original charm. It features a sauna repurposed from a storehouse and luxurious decor that resonates with both tradition and modernity. Enjoy a blissful moment in an open space overlooking a private garden, immersing yourself in the rich culture and history of Iga with your beloved dog.

The NAIKI building faces the Yamato Highway, which was used by feudal lords from various regions of the Yamato area during their alternate attendance in the Edo period. In the Meiji era, around 1870, it was established as the "Tanaka Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Store" and has been renovated from a long-established wholesale office and workshop into a dog-friendly suite where you can spend time with your beloved pet, and the storehouse has been transformed into a private sauna. The name of the building is inspired by the cord braiding method called "Naiki-gumi."

By not placing TVs, clocks, or bright lighting, you can enjoy a slow moment away from the daily hustle and bustle.

While adding modern comforts, we have preserved as much of the original space as possible. Therefore, although the insulation, airtightness, and soundproofing are not high, we offer a special space where you can enjoy the beautiful design that allows you to feel the breath of the time within the accumulated history.

The guest room, utilizing the warmth of natural materials, boasts an open location overlooking a private garden. Inside, it is equipped with a bed and dishes for your beloved dog, as well as amenities, allowing you to spend time with your important family member in comfort (dogs are only allowed on the first floor). The space, adorned with Iga pottery and art, is designed with a focus on the "visual" to help restore the mind and body. The soft light that filters through the garden and the furniture crafted with Naguri processing relieve daily tension, delivering the luxury of sharing the unique tranquility of this place with your dog.

Adjacent to the NAIKI building, the sauna is located in a historic fruit wholesale store that has a history of over 110 years. It is available for exclusive rental for one group at a time, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious time of deep relaxation.
