Scheduled to grand open on July 17, 2026, "Kazeno Kurayoshi" is preparing to welcome guests as a heritage retreat where they can enjoy the entire region, featuring the townscape of red-tiled roofs and white-walled storehouses, Tottori's folk crafts, Mount Mitoku, hot springs, the nature of the satoyama, and interactions with food and people.
We are pleased to announce that we have prepared an experience program themed 'A Retreat Journey that Passes Through the Five Senses,' centered around the four pillars of culture, nature, prayer, and craftsmanship in Kurayoshi and the central region of Tottori Prefecture. Sales will begin on June 4, 2026.
Through this experiential program, we will provide a stay that allows you to encounter the landscape, customs, atmosphere, flavors, and seasonal poetry of this land, while regaining your own senses.

Deep Breathing Retreat Stay
「竹林の廃線跡とトンネルの静寂を歩いて、癒える。」
都会の喧騒や止まらない情報のノイズから離れ、深い静寂に身を委ねるプログラムです。
かつて鉄道が走り、今は竹林に飲み込まれつつある「旧国鉄倉吉線」廃線跡。竹林の隙間から朝の光が降り注ぐ廃線跡で、「宿坊 地蔵院（倉吉市）」の和尚による瞑想体験。瞑想後は、トンネルの奥、光と音が遮られた静かな空間で行うウォーキング。思考を止め、呼吸をゆっくりと深くしていきます。
水面のゆらぎが美しい大山池の畔では、周囲の景色と自身の境界が曖昧になるような一体感を楽しみ、心身が澄み渡るような解放感を味わうひととき。
歩く、呼吸する、休むというシンプルな行為を通じて、心身のリズムを整えます。

日常のマルチタスクを離れ、倉吉の手仕事に没頭するプログラムです。
「民藝の聖地」とも称される鳥取には、健やかな「用の美」が宿る民藝・工芸が今なお息づいています。本プランでは、倉吉絣、鍛冶、陶芸などの中から、感性に響く体験をお選びいただきます。
職人の美学が宿る伝統の懐に飛び込み、無心に素材と向き合う時間は、雑念が消え、自分自身を丁寧に編み直すような「フロー体験」へとつながります。
1. 機織り体験 倉吉絣（くらよしがすり）
伝統の機織り機で、一段ずつ糸を打ち込んでいく「トントン、カラリ」という音に耳を澄ませながら、糸と手元に没頭する時間。緻密な絣模様を紡ぎ出すプロセスに深く集中することで、自分自身を丁寧に編み直すような感覚を味わえます。
2. 鍛冶体験 ペーパーナイフ
創業120余年の老舗で、熱した鉄を叩き切る「鍛造」に挑む体験。火花散る現場で無心に金槌を振り下ろす没入感は、自分自身を新しく打ち直すような達成感をもたらします。
3. 陶芸体験 上神焼（かずわやき）
鳥取県倉吉市で作られる伝統的な陶器「上神焼」。三代目窯元のもと、静謐な工房で湿った土の感触に指先を研ぎ澄ます時間は、いわば「動く瞑想」。素材の変化に寄り添いながら、ゆっくりと形が成されていくプロセスそのものをたどります。

日本遺産「三徳山三佛寺」にある国宝・投入堂への参拝登山を中心に、身体と感覚を研ぎ澄ますプログラムです。
かつて修験者が己を追い込んだ三徳山の峻烈な岩場を、ガイドとともに越えていく時間は、日常のノイズを脱ぎ捨て、今この瞬間に没入する究極の動的瞑想となります。
険しい岩場を乗り越えた先に現れる投入堂の姿は、達成感だけでなく、知的好奇心と深い畏敬の念を呼び覚まします。登山後は、温泉や水辺の静けさの中で、研ぎ澄まされた身体をゆっくりと鎮めていきます。

倉吉周辺に点在する名湯をめぐり、身体に欠かせない「潤い」を大切にしながら、本来の心地よさを取り戻すプログラムです。
世界屈指のラジウム泉として知られる三朝温泉、湖畔に湧く東郷・はわい温泉、そして清らかな湯で知られる関金温泉。それぞれの湯が持つ個性に身をゆだね、日々の忙しさで溜まった緊張をほどいていきます。
東郷湖や大山池での水上アクティビティも。滞在中は、身体に取り入れる「水」の質にもこだわり、白湯の習慣、出汁を活かした食事、入浴後の水分補給などを通じて、穏やかにコンディションを整えます。

In each program, to help you better experience the retreat journey proposed by Kazeno Kurayoshi, we introduce a model course for a 2-night, 3-day stay. It is also possible to add an additional night for a one-night stay or to consult about individual activities. To fully savor the tranquility, craftsmanship, nature, food, hot springs, and evening ambiance of Kurayoshi, we recommend a stay of two nights or more.
