In Kazeno Yame-Fukushima, we collaborated with Kitaya, a long-established sake brewery representing Yame.
We have launched "Kitaya Sake Brewery Tour & Tasting Experience," an exclusive sake brewery experience for our hotel guests.
During the tasting, you can sample several types of sake that have won awards overseas. In particular, the tasting of sparkling sake is unparalleled in Japan from the perspective of maintaining quality.
Enjoy the sake culture nurtured by the water, people, and climate of Yame, an experience you can only have at our establishment, engaging all your senses.

①Aesthetic of Sake Brewing with Former Master Brewers
― SAKE DISCOVERY ―

Enjoy a special guided sake brewery tour by former master brewer Nishio. Experience the aroma of koji filling the brewery, the quiet sounds of brewing, and a moment to touch upon the "aesthetics of sake brewing" that craftsmen have built over time.
At the end of the experience, we will prepare a special tasting of 10 varieties, including sparkling sake "Fiesta".
As a souvenir, you will receive a "guinomi glass" and the sparkling sake "Fiesta" that you tasted during the experience.
You can take home a special cup opened at the brewery, along with your memories.

Founded in 1820, Kitaya is a long-established sake brewery with a history of over 200 years, highly regarded both in Japan and internationally.
It has a track record of winning the Champion Sake award at the IWC (International Wine Challenge),

  • This experience is by reservation only.
    After applying, the hotel will contact you after confirming the acceptance status on-site.
  • You will need to make your own way to Kitaya Hongura, but please refrain from driving as it involves tasting.
    It is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Kitaya Hongura.
  • Underage customers and drivers are not allowed to participate in the tasting.
