Discover moreThe beauty of traditional buildings
Once a producer of fine sake and a center of commerce, "Kita-ya". "Otsubo Chaho," which has faithfully preserved the culture of tea. These two buildings, symbolizing the spirit of Yame, have transformed into a tranquil accommodation space that harmonizes with modern living.
The indigo of Kurume Kasuri, the white of washi paper, and the light of lanterns create shadows. Surrender yourself to the space that has nurtured the culture of Yame Fukushima, and take a moment to reflect on history.
Discover moreWalking through the tea garden and white-walled town
Stepping into the narrow alley with white walls, one enters a stage of living crafts. The vast tea garden shrouded in morning mist, the lively atmosphere of workshops where artisans dedicate themselves, and the gentle light of Yame lanterns illuminating the town at night.
A journey that traces the context of the land, rather than a tourism that is merely consumed. It touches upon the unwavering aesthetics nurtured by the climate of Yame.
