It takes about 15 to 20 minutes by car from the accommodation. Every year, from mid to late November, the ginkgo tree-lined streets in the Taihoku area turn colorful, dyeing the surroundings in golden hues.
The "Shimizu-dera Honbo Garden," located about 20 minutes by car from the inn, is designated as a Place of Scenic Beauty, and during the peak season, the Iroha maple trees beautifully change color, allowing you to enjoy stunning autumn foliage.
Additionally, if you extend your drive for about 40 minutes, you can enjoy a dynamic autumn foliage drive at "Senbon Momiji" in Hinata Shrine Gorge, which colors the Oku-Yame valley, reflecting beautifully on the dam lake.
The beautiful autumn leaves that shimmer in the sunlight during the day, as well as the scenery glimpsed in between travels and the emotionally rich atmosphere at dusk, all contribute to the ever-changing expressions of autumn landscapes that gently unravel the busyness of everyday life.
